First Achieve's Engineering Division have an excellent opportunity for an Assembly Fitter role to join an established and growing company in the Glasgow region. Our client is a national manufacturer, dedicated to top-quality door solutions for a diverse range of sectors including Shipbuilding, Navy Supply, Oil & Gas, and offshore Wind Energy Projects.

- Offering £16ph while temp then once established into permanent position £14ph
- Temp to Permanent role
- 40hr work week
- 5 working days (early Friday finish)
- 7am to 4:30pm Mon to Thurs, 7am to 12pm Fri
Role
- Dismantling and assembly of repair / service pumps for OE and aftermarket orders within laid down parameters, efficiently, in line with work instructions.
- Working within assembly to ensure economic manufacturing to the correct quality standard.
- Responsible for your own quality of work, self-inspection and completion of paperwork and applicable checklists are required.
- Assist Operations Manager with problems that occur within the assembly department. Work with other departments to ensure that issues are resolve and documented in line with current procedures in a timely manner.
- Assist in preparing/updating assembly documentation, programs, and tooling.
- Work with managers to implement the company's policies and goals.
- Ensure that health, safety and environmental guidelines are followed.
- Provide on-going support and training to peers and apprentices within assembly as and where required.
- Be available for further training if required.
- If required, assist in the test area which include Hydro, performance, noise and vibration testing. Included will be setting up and stripping product off test, efficiently, in line with work instructions.
- Mechanical background
