First Achieve's Engineering Division are seeking Plant Fitters for their client who specializes in the integration of manufacturing, hydraulics, pneumatics, and electrical systems based in Sheffield.

Due to continued company expansion, our client is currently looking for a full time Hydraulics Engineer / Mechanical Fitter to join our busy workshop in Dinnington, Sheffield.

Salary £35-40k (DOE)

We are looking for someone:

  • With a hydraulics bias, a good understanding of hydraulic principles
  • To work to 3D CAD drawings and to their own initiative to assemble heavy plant machinery
  • With experience in a similar role building relatively large and complex mobile & static machinery out of various different materials.
  • To operate the forklift truck and overhead crane to move pallets and other heavy items
  • Who can work well as part of a team but can also work independently using their own initiative.
  • To be able to overcome problems as they arise quickly and efficiently as is required on bespoke builds
  • Experience in Hydraulics is essential.

You will have:

  • 5 + years' Experience in mechanical fitting
  • Experience operating overhead crane
  • Excellent team working skills
