First Achieve's Engineering Division have an excellent opportunity for a Manufacture Engineer to join Our client in Glasgow , an international manufacturer, dedicated to Marine products world-wide.

What's on Offer:

  • Up to £40k per annum
  • 39hr work week
  • 4.5 day work week
  • 7am to 4pm Mon to Thurs and 7am to 12pm Fri
  • OT 1.5x

This role will report directly to the Warehouse Manager and you will be expected to work as part of a collaborative team of operatives in ensuring the efficient and continual, management and organisation, of products on the premise.

Essential skills, experience and knowledge:

The successful candidate must have:

  • Is able to use Solidworks to create 2D & 3D models
  • Has experience working in a process improvement environment
  • Is able to design jinx and fixtures

The successful candidate will work closely with design, production, and project management teams to create precise and detailed drawings for bespoke products that meet both customer requirements and manufacturing standards.Key ResponsibilitiesTechnical Drawing Production: Create accurate and detailed 2D/3D CAD drawings for bespoke counters, bars, food displays, and associated fittings using AutoCAD or other relevant software.Design Development: Collaborate with the design team to translate conceptual designs into manufacturing-ready technical drawings and specifications. Ensure all designs comply with structural, safety, and functional standards.Liaise with Stakeholders: Work closely with clients, designers, and project managers to ensure designs meet client expectations.
